How Orb works

A practical loop: understand how answer engines talk about you today, harden on-site citability, earn corroborating mentions, then measure with a living prompt panel.

01

Audit

Map category prompts, current answers, competitors cited, and gaps in your entity footprint. Establish a baseline for found / cited / correct—before changing anything.

02

On-site citability

Rewrite and structure pages so claims are answer-first in HTML: clear definitions, FAQs that match real questions, schema that mirrors visible copy, technical crawl health.

03

Off-site mentions

Build corroboration where answer engines and humans already look: references, listings, expert quotes, and partner pages that name you consistently—not spammy link schemes.

04

Prompt panel

Run a fixed set of prompts on a schedule. Score whether you are found, cited, and correctly described. Feed misses back into the audit. See Measurement for the methodology.

What you get in practice

  • Baseline report: how engines currently describe your category
  • Prioritized page and entity fixes for citability
  • Off-site mention plan aligned to real corroboration gaps
  • Prompt panel setup and a cadence for review

What we won’t do

We won’t promise rankings inside proprietary models, fabricate case studies, or optimize for deceptive answers. Orb’s Hong Kong experiment is deliberately measurement-honest: results are published when they exist—not invented to fill a landing page.

Start with an audit

Share your category and a few prompts customers already ask. We’ll tell you what’s found, cited, and correct today.
